Water Damage inside the walls with insulation
These photos illustrate water damage from a roof leak, on an exterior wall that contained insulation. The drywall could have been dried but the insulation was wet and lost it's R value (or insulating value). The drywall was removed so the wet insulation could be removed. After the framing was dried to normal moisture content, the insulation and drywall were replaced. Leaving wet insulation in the walls could cause several problems like mold, dry rot, fungus and lost of heat energy. Our crews are experienced and trained so they know to look beyond the surface materials and consider other layers of materials that you cannot see. These reasons are a major difference from one restoration company to another.
